Tiger Lily's Story

Meet Tiger Lily! This tiny sweetheart is very loving and affectionate. Tiger Lily is initially bashful. When anyone approaches, her first instinct is to hide. However, once she realizes she knows you, she stops and will eventually let you pick her up. She then melts in your hands, and can’t stop purring. Tiger Lily usually stays on her foster mom's lap for at least 30 minutes before she decides to go and play with her brothers. Tiger Lily seems to have a vision problem from a very bad eye infection she had, but that doesn’t stop her from running and playing with her brothers. Tiger Lily loves toys of all kinds: springs, moving toys, and ones that make noises! The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy

The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match.
