Tiger Lily's Story
The announcement we've been waiting nearly a year to make... Tiger Lily is finally ready for adoption!

This beautiful calico is about 1-1/2 years old, and after months of tests, treatments, and so much patience, she's finally living the happy, normal life she deserves!

When Tiger Lily came to us last August, she was suffering from a severe, drug-resistant UTI where she has been urinating blood and her previous owners did nothing to help her. After and entire month on antibiotics, the infection cleared, but she continued having inappropriate urination despite trying every medical and behavioral option we could think of. Ultrasounds were normal, medications didn't help, giving her a space of her own with no other cats, letting her have feline fiends....nothing worked but we refused to give up on her.

Finally, our veterinarian recommended trying Clomipramine. After recently adjusting her dose again, everything has changed. She's now been three weeks accident-free and is thriving! She currently takes one dose of liquid medication each day, and it has given her a whole new life. She may need it long-term, or she may eventually be able to wean off, only time will tell. Its an inexpensive med and she takes it easily.

Tiger Lily is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. She greets everyone like an old friend, flops over for belly rubs, rubs against you, and wants nothing more than to be loved. She's playful, incredibly affectionate, and gets along well with other cats (after the typical calico opinion on new roommates ). She'd be happy as your one and only or with a feline friend.

Tiger Lily has waited a long time for her happily ever after. Now all she needs is someone willing to look past one tiny daily medication and see the absolutely perfect cat she's always been.

Could that someone be you?

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSckcEm8svM09mfKV_O_0vWuWMa7upa1q9NK9SQzQwyF7GOjZA/viewform?fbclid=IwdGRjcAM3yY1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHu7_-exiEL7lnm0deNr0US8qqB_2edypZb4mCDkYiI08Zp2vuqeSCj9ce_yX_aem_4oZKkb8_2C-HnPcbVr5y1w&utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio
