Tiana's Story

Tiana is a gorgeous four year old female tabby with a story as intriguing as her stripes. She came to ARF in early May from an overcrowded shelter in need of space and the details of her past remain a bit of a mystery. But one thing is certain. She's ready to start her next chapter with someone who will love her as much as she deserves.

Why a Four Year Old Cat Can Be Perfect:
Tiana is in the prime of her life. She's old enough to have a calm, confident personality, but young enough to enjoy playful adventures with her new family. Cats at this age often bond quickly with their adopters and are usually well past the mischievous kitten stage, making them ideal companions for people seeking a balanced, loving feline friend.

Tabbies Are Famous and for Good Reason:
Tabby cats hold a special place in American pop culture. From Garfield's mischievous charm to the lovable cats in countless movies and cartoons, these striped beauties are admired for their intelligence, curiosity and sweet personalities. Tiana fits right in with that legacy. She's smart, affectionate and full of character.

About Her Health:
Tiana has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This does not mean she can't have a long, healthy life. In fact, FIV is not contagious to humans or dogs and usually spreads through deep bite wounds between outdoor cats competing for limited resources. Many FIV+ cats live happily for many years in loving homes. Our adoption consultant will provide all the information you need and help you feel confident about bringing Tiana into your life.

Tiana is ready to share love, cuddles and companionship with someone special. If you're looking for a sweet, intelligent and affectionate cat who comes with a touch of mystery, Tiana might be the perfect match for you! Come meet Tiana today and start a beautiful new chapter together.

The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
