Tia's Story

If you’ve got a lap, Tia is ready to fill it! This charming and gentle senior tortie beauty is all about love and companionship. Tia’s idea of a perfect day? Cuddling up comfortably in your lap or nestling beside you for a cozy nap. Forget about the typical tortie ‘tortitude’—Tia is the epitome of sweetness! With her warm purrs and sweet disposition, she promises to be the most delightful feline presence in your life.

Tia’s golden years come with a couple of health considerations that require a caring adopter. She is managing arthritis with a monthly injection, which helps keep her comfortable and mobile. Additionally, she suffers from chronic diarrhea, but thanks to a special prescription diet, her condition is mostly under control—although she may have the occasional small accident. Tia's resilience and ability to adapt to her circumstances show what a brave and loving spirit she truly is.

If you're looking for a devoted lap partner who can bring joy and warmth into your home, Tia is the cat for you. Embrace the love and comfort of this sweet senior kitty, and let her fill your days with purrs and cuddle sessions!

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet her, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. The Dancing Cat's Adoption Policy
ADOPT A DANCING CAT Thank you for your interest in adopting from The Dancing Cat! Once you fill out our application on our website, our adoption coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible. Adopting a cat is an important responsibility. Submission of this application does not automatically grant an adoption. All adoption applications are reviewed and each applicant is contacted to determine the best fit possible for you and the cat you are interested in. If you are approved for adoption, you will be asked to sign an adoption agreement via email. CAT MEDICAL HISTORY AND HEALTH All of our rescued cats have an initial health check when they are at the shelter. Our goal is to understand the health of each of our cats and provide that information to any potential adopter. However, we cannot guarantee the health of the cat. Therefore we recommend that you take your newly adopted cat to a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible after your adoption. Any known health issues will be disclosed at the time you meet the cat. RECEIVING YOUR NEW FELINE FAMILY MEMBER Upon completion of the adoption agreement (sent via email) and payment of the adoption fee, a Dancing Cat volunteer will deliver your new cat to your home.
