Thyme's Story
From his foster mom, Christina:
Thyme is a sweet, quiet boy with a calm presence and a sleek, handsome look. He’s the kind of cat who enjoys being near his people while still doing his own thing, making him a great companion for someone who appreciates a more independent cat.

He can be shy at first and takes a little time to settle in, but once he’s comfortable, he has his own adorable ways of asking for attention. One of my favorite things is the little trilling noise he makes when he decides he wants pets. It’s his way of checking in and letting you know he’s ready for some love.

Thyme came from a feral colony as a kitten, so he’s naturally more reserved, but he’s a very sweet boy who enjoys companionship in his own quiet way. He’s not much of a cuddler, but he does like attention when he chooses and enjoys being part of the household.

He gets along well with other cats and has also done well with dogs. He especially enjoys playtime with wand toys and laser pointers and has a fun playful side once he feels comfortable.

I think Thyme would do best with someone who’s happy simply sharing space with him and letting him settle in at his own pace. He’s the kind of cat whose personality slowly unfolds over time, and there’s something really rewarding about that.

He’s a gentle, low-key companion with a lot of quiet sweetness to offer.

Born 10/10/2023

At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
