Thumper's Story

Thumper is a male, black Domestic Short Hair kitten. His estimated date of birth is April 1, 2026. Everyone's Best Friend. Some kittens take time to warm up to people. Thumper skipped that step entirely.

This sweet black kitten loves just about everyone he meets. Friendly, curious, and endlessly affectionate, Thumper is happiest when he's surrounded by people or other cats. If there's an empty lap nearby, chances are he'll decide it's his.

His playful personality shines through in everything he does. He loves climbing cat trees, chasing wand toys, batting at strings, wrestling with his siblings, and investigating absolutely everything around him—including water. Whether it's a sink, a water bowl, or even the shower, Thumper can't resist checking it out.

After all that excitement, he's more than ready for cuddle time. Thumper loves being held like a baby, melts for chest rubs, and enjoys curling up beside both people and feline friends for a well-earned nap. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him one of those kittens who seems to fit in almost anywhere.

He has excellent litter box habits, eats both wet and dry food, travels well in a carrier, and has remained healthy throughout foster care. He enjoys treats and the occasional pinch of catnip, and like many kittens his age, he sometimes gives gentle little play nibbles that he'll naturally outgrow.

Thumper gets along wonderfully with cats of every age and personality and would be equally happy joining a home with another playful cat or being adopted alongside one of his siblings. While he hasn't met dogs or children yet, his outgoing personality suggests he'll adjust well with patient introductions.

Thumper shares a close bond with Flower and Bambi. ARF Tulsa offers reduced adoption fees for kitten pairs because kittens raised together develop healthy social skills, help prevent single kitten syndrome, and always have a playmate while their family is away. If adopted separately, Thumper will need another young, playful cat in his forever home.

Thumper's Perfect Match: Thumper would be a wonderful match for someone looking for an outgoing, affectionate kitten who greets every day—and every person—with excitement. His playful spirit, easygoing personality, and endless love of cuddles make him the kind of companion who quickly becomes everyone's favorite. Sometimes the perfect cat is the one you weren't expecting. Come meet Thumper—you just might find your new best friend.

Thumper is fully vetted and has an adoption fee of $120. You can apply online for him at https://arftulsa.wufoo.com/forms/arf-cat-adoption-application/ PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO APPLYING.

Note: ARF reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
