Thumper's Story

Thumper is a special cat who will need a special and patient owner. Approximately 1 year old as of December 2025, Thumper was found on the streets as a kitten, living in a feral cat colony. However, he didn't seem feral, so we decided not to return him. Shy and wary of people, he has shown the potential to become a housecat by bonding with his current caretaker, who unfortunately can't keep him long-term. However, he is still fearful of most people, so we need an adopter who understands this and is willing to let Thumper adjust to a new home on his terms. Once he gets to know you, he loves to be petted, and food is his favorite thing in the world. He's not a fan of being picked up, and he hides around strangers. We truly need a patient person willing to work with Thumper and show him love and affection so that we don't have to release him to the streets again.
