Our Mission

At Purrever Friends, we believe in the transformative power of friendship, not only for humans but for our feline friends as well. Our primary mission is trap-neuter-return to reduce the cat overpopulation in the Upstate, but we often find friendly kittens and cats on the streets who would thrive better in a home rather than the streets, We are not a shelter; we are a foster-based rescue. We carefully vet each cat we take into our care to make sure they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before placing them into homes. Please note we do not accept cats into our adoption program from the public.
Adoption Policy
We require an application, phone interview, veterinarian's reference/personal reference, and meet and greet before approval. We also verify that applicants are allowed to have pets at their address.
