Hi! I am Thomas, a domestic medium haired light orange colored cat. I am a chill and relaxed cat, one that enjoys affection and love but also likes to lay low and watch the world around me. I am not shy with telling you I want pets and love. When I came to the shelter, I was covered in burrs and had a tail injury. I was evaluated by a vet and it was determined I needed part of my tail to be amputated since it was severely injured and the tip was dying. My shelter family alleviated my pain and got my tail taken care of - yay! No more pain! My vet team cleared me and gave me a clean bill of health! What makes me unique - I have two teeth that stick out kind of funny. My shelter family tells me I'm still very handsome and adorable. <br/><br/>I am neutered, and I am up to date on my vaccines - distemper and rabies. I have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested and I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes a quiet and calm home. I tolerate other kitties without issue. I like to be by my other kitty friends. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home with kids who understand boundaries. I like to observe and then will approach when I am comfortable. I enjoy treats and like to play with toy mice. <br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and good ol' pets and love. Once I warm up, I enjoy being pet and loved on. I also like to be in front of a window catching warm sun rays & watching the world go by. <br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
