Thomas's Story

Hi. My name is Thomas, and I've reviewed your application to be my human. It's looking promising.

I was born around October 2023, and I'm athletic, confident, and — let's be honest — objectively charming. I love people, I'm not shy about it, and I see absolutely no reason to pretend otherwise. If you're in a room, I'd like to be in it too. If you're doing something, I'd like to supervise. These are simply my standards.

My skill set is extensive. I'm an elite shoulder-jumper and a precision nuzzler. I can leap directly into your arms from a standing start, which is frankly impressive, and I take my role as kitchen supervisor extremely seriously. I've also been told I'm an excellent purring machine, though I prefer the term vocal talent.

I thrive on companionship and activity — I want a household with actual energy in it, someone who'll appreciate a cat who shows up fully. Personal space is a concept I find theoretically interesting but practically unnecessary.

I'm looking for an adult-only home where my considerable personality has room to operate. On the topic of other cats: I'm selective. I do best with confident feline companions, and I have a clear preference for the ladies. That said, I'm also completely open to being your one and only — I'm generous enough to accept all the attention myself.

If you want a cat who's all in — playful, bold, affectionate, and committed to being your most interesting roommate — I think you'll find I'm overqualified for the job.

--
Thomas has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Thomas, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

If interested in one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website. The application will then be reviewed by our applications team and passed on to the foster of the animal that was applied for. The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. Once payment has been received, our adoption contract will be sent along with vet records. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
