She's sweet, she's petite, and she REFUSED to live on the street! Thelma was brought to SICSA after repeatedly breaking into a home through their doggy door. Unfortunately, this caused quite a bit of chaos with the resident pets--but thankfully, the Good Samaritan was able to bring Thelma and her kitten to the shelter. Thelma is a pretty typical "teen mom." She had to grow up fast to raise her babies, so she can be a bit socially awkward at first. Personally, we find this endearing, and we think you will too. You can usually find Thelma in a wall cubby in her open room at SICSA. Give her a few soft pets, and you'll very quickly have a new best friend. She literally LEAPS into the air to headbutt your hand for more scratches! Thelma has also been known to catch bugs, so she'll happily earn her keep in your home.
