The Weed-lets's Story
Prepare to be charmed by the antics of these super-sociable kittens, Charlie (black tuxedo) and his identical sisters, Nettie and Clover (pure black). We took this litter into our care when they were only one month old, as their mother had been killed by a car and their then-owner was overwhelmed by the thought of having to bottle feed them. They arrived infested with fleas and reeking of cigarette smoke, but happily enough, these things are easily remedied in our world of rescue. And it was only a small transition for them to be eating solid food and thriving. They love all things people, cats and toys. And there's not a shy bone to be found among them. Super sweet, cuddly and adorable.

Their foster mom has provided a brief description of each of the kittens:

Charlie is the classic boisterous boy. Full of energy and loves to run and play, but once he gets his playtime in, he loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed.

Clover is a happy little girl who purrs all the time. She is obsessed with her littermates, following them around and mimicking their crazy antics. She loves nothing more than to be cuddled up with them for nap time.

Nettie is the more gentle, quiet one. But when the squeezable treats come out, she outmaneuvers her littermates to be first in line, even pushing her siblings out of the way if they try to cut in.

The kittens were born on April 18th, which means they just turned three months old. They are now fully vetted, meaning they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested (negative) for disease, and vaccinated (twice). They have received multiple treatments for parasites. We hope to adopt the kittens either together (a pair for one anyway) or to a home with another young cat to continue their social development.

If you're interested, please complete our adoption application in full. We ask for a donation of $275 for each kitten, for which we offer a charitable tax receipt. Vet records will also be provided.

Please go to the following link: https://www.catsinhalifax.ca/adoptions

The direct link to the application form is found here: https://www.catsinhalifax.ca/adoption-application

Thanks for your interest!
