Our Mission
We are a network of committed volunteers, not a shelter.
Adoption Policy
1. Create a biography with photographs of the cat.
2. Advertise cat for adoption on our website (www.catsinhalifax.ca) and other available platforms, referring prospective adopters to our online application form.
3. Review incoming applications, seeking the best fit for the cat on offer.
4. Arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the cat in the foster home.
5. If all are agreed to proceed, conduct a home visit of the prospective adopters home.
6. Complete the business of adoption, which includes signing off on our adoption contract and offering us the requested donation (via etransfer, preferably).
