Texas Pete was originally adopted from the local shelter, but when they brought him home, the family's German Shepherd thought he was a tiny snack. So Texas Pete is now looking for a new home where he can be cherished and not eaten. He enjoys playing with his foster family's cat and he would do well with cats, but doesn't need a cat to be happy. Oddly enough, he also does just fine with dogs despite previous experiences! He is a funny guy who just wants to be given a little bit of time to trust his new humans and hang out with them once he understands his new family!
