Texas's Story

Howdy! My name is Texas and lookin' for a place to lay my head so saddle up because I'm fixin' to spin a yarn and tell you a little bit about myself. I reckon you've already noticed that I'm a real looker, with as many spots as a Holstein bull. I've also got a personality as big as my name! I'm a rowdy and playful ranch hand who enjoys shootin' the breeze. That means I'm a big talker, for all you greenhorns out there. Once I get done jawin' and caterwauling and am plumb tuckered out, I'm sweet as cherry pie and will break into a purr just as soon as you lay eyes on me. I'm litter box trained and am an indoor only. No roaming the range for me! Can you be my pardner and give me my home sweet home?

When you find an animal you’re interested in, complete an adoption application at houstonpetsalive.org/adopt. You will be contacted within 24 hours of receiving your application. Completing an application neither guarantees nor binds you to an animal. We will set up a meet and greet with you and the pet.
