Teton's Story
Teton is a young male tabby with classic ginger colouring. We think of Teton as a bit of a lover-boy, as he will rub his face against that of his foster mom and give gentle love-bites when petted or brushed. He clearly loves the company of the other cats in the foster home, often in the director's chair, as he cuddles and plays with them. A real scene-stealer.

Teton was rescued along with six other cats when they turned up as a group at a feeding station that our rescue group maintains in a bedroom community outside Dartmouth. Given that the cats seem to be quite bonded with each other, we suspect that they were all abandoned at the same time. It was likely a few weeks before we caught up with them out there in the woods, and that was enough to make them suspicious and scared. Thankfully it only took a little while before they realized they were safe and could relax enough to trust again. Teton and his fellow sister-kitties, Andes and Appalatia, are being fostered in the same home, where they are getting along really well together.

Teton is currently being fostered at a home near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Teton has been neutered, vaccinated, tested (negative) for disease, microchipped and treated for parasites. All fixed, so we say.

We are looking for a quiet home for Teton where he will ideally have another cat for companionship and to bolster his confidence. In a perfect world, he would be adopted together with one of his sister-kitties. We ask for a minimum of $250 for each of our rescued cats and you would receive a charitable tax donation for the donated amount.

We would ask that interested parties complete our online adoption application in full, which can be found via the following link: https://www.catsinhalifax.ca/adoptions

The direct link to the application form is found here: https://www.catsinhalifax.ca/adoption-application

Thanks for your interest!
