Tessie

Tessie is a beautiful senior lady looking for a nice retirement home to call her own. She is 15 years old, and very sweet. However, she was brought to us after her own passed away and she began attacking the cat in the home that took her in. For this reason, we think Tessie would prefer to be an only pet. <br/><br/>Things to know about Tessie: <br/>1) She is in kidney failure and has high blood pressure, both of which require medications. <br/>2) She is deaf, but that doesn't seem to bother her much. She does have a loud meow! <br/>3) She is an amazing, beautiful, sweet lady that deserves a warm windowsill to live out the rest of her life!<br/><br/>Are you looking for a companion who will adore you? Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
