Tessa & Twinky's Story
**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Tessa and Twinkie didn't have the easiest start. These two sweet tabby sisters grew up in an empty trailer with a feral mama who, while a devoted and loving mother, kept mostly to herself and away from humans. When they were rescued and brought to their foster home along with two siblings, the world of people was a brand new and slightly overwhelming place.

But these girls are made of tougher stuff than they might first appear.

With the help of the other foster kittens in their home — who were happy to demonstrate that humans were not only harmless but actually quite useful for pets and scritches — Tessa and Twinkie began to find their footing. Each day they have grown a little braver, a little more confident, and a little more curious about the world around them. They are now exploring more of the house, seeking out their humans, and discovering that life with people has quite a lot to recommend it. Good food, warm laps, and always someone to play with or snuggle up to — not a bad deal at all.

These two are a comfort to each other in the way that only sisters can be, and that bond has been a big part of what has helped them grow. They play together, snuggle together, and face new experiences side by side. With the right home and the right humans, there is no limit to how far they will go.

Tessa and Twinkie have been fostered around dogs and are slowly warming up to them — they would likely do fine with a calm, cat-friendly pup. They would do best with older children who know how to be gentle with animals and give them space when they need it.

These girls have already come so far from that empty trailer. Now they're ready for something wonderful — a forever home where they can keep blooming, together.

Their adoption fee is $250 (total).

Tessa & Twinkie were born around 5/1/26. They have been spayed and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info
