Teensy's Story

Teensy is a miniature darling. Very shy, but in the right home with just the right person, I'm confident she will come out of her shell and become a snuggle-bug.

Teensy originally came over for a spay and neuter date. She was born and lived in a barn. She was malnutrition, had parasites, and was so scared but sweet. So, we asked if the people would be willing to surrender her so she could live in a safe and loving home.

Teensy is now very healthy and loves to play, especially with Hercules, who came from the same place. She is still shy towards people, but she's our little caterpillar waiting to transform.

Critical Care Kitten Coalition's Adoption Policy
We require our Match-Making application to be completed and submitted to the email address listed on the application. If we only receive the PetFinder interest info, we will respond requesting our application. Because our emails tend to be routed to the Spam folder, we depend on potential clients having their phone number listed in PetFinder. Otherwise, we scrap the interest card after 3 weeks. We have a five-stage adoption process: Stage 1: We must receive our adoption application, completed in full and signed Stage 2: If all looks good, a phone interview will be conducted where we will get to know each other a bit more and we might establish an appointment Stage 3: Pay a nonrefundable fee to meet the kitties. It's $30 for one person, $50 for two or more. This fee is paid through our website under Save A Kitten. If there's a match, the Meet and Greet fee will be deducted from the adoption fee (Note: Do not pay this until after the phone interview). Stage 4: Once payment is received, you will receive a text with our address as confirmation of the appointment, and Stage 5: Meeting the adoptable kitties. (Questions are strongly encouraged, but because who you come here for may not be who you adopt, please wait to ask questions until you are here)
