Teddy Cat's Story

Teddy Cat's story: Teddy was a stray rescued from a barn when his condition started to deteriorate and they could see that his fur was extremely matted and causing him pain. So he was trapped and taken to a foster. He was initially thought to be female, but a vet appt confirmed he's a boy. He's been living the life of luxury now at his foster home. No more barns and cold for him!

Teddy is the best cat for anyone looking for a snuggler! He's very vocal for everything he needs, but mostly meows when he wants love, which is every time he sees you! He's been shaved because of his mats, but his fur is growing back great and it doesn't stop Teddy from being his cat self. He loves to play with toys and catnip and does well with other cats and mellow dogs. Teddy would do well with kids and a family!

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt

El Paso County Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please bear with us as we process applications! We are working on changing our processes to function during the COVID-19 outbreak. We have had a big increase in people wanting to adopt (yay!) so it's taking us a bit of time to get through the applications. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must apply for adoption before you will be able to meet with a pup. If you meet with a dog and decide to adopt, we can process your adoption right then and you can go home with your new family member! Thank you for adopting from us and saving our sweet dogs!
