Teddy's Story

Teddy Big Personality, Big Heart

Teddy is a 5 year old neutered gray short haired male, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, with a presence you can't miss. He's a confident, affectionate boy who enjoys being around people and isn't shy about telling you what he wants. He's a vocal communicator with a lot of opinions.

Teddy gets along well with other cats, but because of his size and confidence, he naturally wants to be the alpha cat in the home. He will thrive in a household where other cats are easygoing or where he can be the star of the show.

One thing Teddy is very clear about: he does not like dogs. He will challenge them, and he's not afraid to escalate, so he must go to a dog-free home.

Teddy is also a bit of a feline vacuum. If food is left out, he considers it fair game. His adopter will need to be mindful about counters and open plates.

When it comes to affection, Teddy is warm and easygoing. He loves attention and enjoys being close, but he can become mouthy when playing or when overstimulated, so hell do best with someone who understands cat body language and can help him manage his excitement.

If you would like to meet this special furball, please fill out the Online Pre-Adoption Questionnaire on our website, https://www.catmanducc.org/copy-of-adoption. Then come by Catmandu Friday through Sunday for a meet and greet and to talk with an adoption specialist. Adoption hours are 11 am to 4 pm. Plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so that you have time to spend with the cats before adoptions close at 4. Please bring a carrier in case you find your purrfect friend.
Renters must bring a copy of their lease showing they are allowed to have a cat.
For more information on Catmandu, see bio.link/momcat.

Catmandu's Adoption Policy
Catmandu is located in Carson City, NV. We do not ship cats cross-country. You must be able to visit In person prior to adoption. We ask that all family members come to meet the cat, especially if there are children. Spay/neuter, shots to date, and deworming (if necessary) are included in our adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $100 for kittens under 1 year old; and $50 for adult cats. We strongly prefer to have adopters complete an application and make an appointment to meet the cats. Because we have an extremely small staff, this ensures that we will be able to give each potential adopter plenty of individual time and attention to help them select the perfect cat for their family and situation. It is very important to us that it is a good fit and the adoption is for the lifetime of the cat. Appointments are available Tuesday through Sunday.
