Ted's Story

A 6-month-old longhair orange boy with a promising start to a luxuriously fluffy tail. Ted was born outside in Contra Costa County and, along with his brothers Eddie and James, has quickly made himself at home living indoors.

He is the charismatic center of attention - the first to pounce, the quickest to play, and the loudest to purr when humans arrive. Ted rules his surroundings with quiet confidence. More confident and affectionate than his brothers, he is talkative and genuinely enjoys being around people. When it's mealtime, he'll greet you with the loudest purrs, and he demands attention throughout the day in the most endearing way possible.

Ted is an energetic cat who is active and playfully curious, thriving on interactive play with a variety of toys. Wand toys are his obsession, and he loves chasing on the ground and launching into the air with impressive acrobatic flair. When the energy fades, he'll flop down for a rest while keeping a watchful eye on all the action around him.

He adores wrestling with his brothers but can get a little riled up. While he enjoys lots of attention and enrichment, he is also wonderfully easygoing and independent, content to entertain himself when you need to focus on other things.

One quirk to know: Ted prefers to drink running water from the sink, so a cat water fountain is a win for him.

Best Match:
Could join a calm home with older kids
Could join a quiet home with teens
Needs cat buddy - should be adopted with littermate or to home with kitten friend.

Indoor only

If this sounds like your ideal feline, reach out to us about meeting Ted today!
And be sure to learn more about his brothers, Eddie and James!
James: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/james-ec1ca937-1efd-4542-ba1b-28dfb9785895/ca/south-san-francisco/the-purrfect-catch-foundation-ca3105/details/
Eddie: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/eddie-878fd5f4-c44a-4763-8957-7098ec030f57/ca/south-san-francisco/the-purrfect-catch-foundation-ca3105/details/

If this sounds like your ideal feline, reach out to us about meeting Ted today!

Our kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Note: We have a feline adoption fair every Saturday at the San Mateo Pet Club at 1826 South Norfolk in San Mateo from noon-3 p.m. Come see us.

The Purrfect Catch uses a foster to adopt process to help confirm it's a 100% love match with both the humans and any existing household animals. We have a 100% return policy at any time. We also view the person's online presence and do a Zoom/FaceTime meeting to so their home. We do an adoption fair on Saturday's at the San Mateo Pet Club on Norfolk from noon-3 p.m.
