Taz's Story
Taz is the best combination of sweet and salty. He's very affectionate, loves to be pet, and will follow his foster mom around everywhere. He is the ultimate helper and thoroughly enjoys helping with all tasks, especially tasks that require no cats.

Trying to move Taz out of your way brings out the salt. He will yell at you and turn to nip, but he does not actually bite. Attempts to step over him result in an attack on your ankles, but it is always without claws. He's a boy who knows his boundaries and has no issue telling you what they are, but he also clearly knows the boundaries of our fragile human skin and never tries to hurt.

While his attitude is quite amusing, he needs someone who will understand his language and he is not suitable to a home with small children. Taz tolerates the presence of other cats but doesn't seem interested in them, so he would do well in a home as an only cat or with another pet who doesn't need his attention.

He is not a buddy cat. Taz is living with a large dog in his foster home and while he is absolutely unimpressed with the dog, they are coexisting well and Taz will join his foster mom on the couch while the dog is there. He would be suitable to a home with a cat-friendly dog and as the only cat in the household.

Taz comes from a background that caused him some confusion and he has a bit of trouble adjusting to new situations. He will need patience and understanding as he moves on to his new forever home. That patience will be repaid with all the help and love you could ask for. You will never have to go to the bathroom alone again!

Like all ACR cats, Taz is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. He is negative for FIV and FeLV, and had a fractured tooth removed.
