Tater's Story
Meet Tater – The Sweetest Goofball You’ll Ever Meet! Say hello to Tater, a 3-year-old big boy with a goofy spirit and a heart of gold! This lovable tabby is the total package—sweet, playful, curious, and full of charm. Whether he’s chasing toys, flopping over for attention, or just being his silly self, Tater brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. He’s a true lovebug who adores people, gets along great with other cats, and would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog. He’s also a gentle, friendly companion for families with respectful kids.Tater has had a bit of a rough start, but you’d never know it from his sunny personality. He was diagnosed with stomatitis, a painful condition that required the removal of most of his teeth (don’t worry—he kept his canines!). Thankfully, he’s now feeling so much better and still eats just fine. In fact, he’s thriving! He also has a chronic runny eye due to malformed tear ducts. Affter consulting with a veterinary opthamology specialist and trying numerous medications, there wasn't much success. Unfortunately, Tater is just going to have a chronically runny eye that will need to be cleaned regularly and receive treatment occasionally. He also had some skin allergy issues where he lost some of his fur on his back, but a couple of rounds of steroids seems to have cleared it up. It's likely that Tater has a comprimised immune system, thus making him a bit more succeptible to issues like these. Nonetheless, it doesn't slow him down or stop him from enjoying life. In fact, Tater is just one big lovable goofball who adores attention, playtime and most of all, canned food. And to top it all off? Tater has the cutest little overbite that just makes him even more endearing. Between his big, expressive eyes and that silly grin, he’s impossible not to love.Tater is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to bring love, laughter, and endless head boops to his forever home.If you’re looking for a cat who’s affectionate, fun, and just a little quirky in the best way, come meet Tater. He’s got a lot of love to give—and he’s ready to share it with you.
