Despite the noise and uncertainty around her, she proved to be a devoted and protective mama. Now that her kittens are safe and growing, it’s Tasting’s turn to find a home where she can finally relax and be cared for. Beneath her resilient exterior is a gentle, affectionate cat who just needs a little time to feel secure. Once she trusts you, she shows her sweet nature in quiet ways—soft purrs, curious glances, requests for scratches and pets, and a calm presence that makes a house feel like home.Tasting would do best in a patient household that understands she’s been through a lot and deserves the chance to settle in at her own pace. While not much is known of her past, she is now fully up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm, and de-wormed. She is completely litterbox trained and very neat and tidy in the home. She is easy to pick up, carry and handle, and while she doesn't enjoy car rides, she can easily be loaded into a cat carrier and tolerates the trip. If you’re looking for a cat with a strong spirit and a tender heart, Tasting might just be the perfect addition to your family.<br/><br/>You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved. Please ask questions if you're interested in any of our cats
