Tasha's Story

Tasha is a sweet kitty that will be there for you at the end of a long day when you just want to relax to the sound of purring. She also loves to play and can be quite the live-wire, running and batting toys around with a few "cat naps" in between. She may be shy with strangers at first, but once she warms up is happy to play or cuddle with you. She loves watching out the windows for birds or bugs... or whatever moves, she's not picky. She tolerates the medium dog in her foster home but prefers not to interact with him. She does well and will play with the easy-going kitties in her foster home, but can be leery of those that have dominant personalities as she was picked on by the cats from the colony she was rescued from. Tasha has adjusted to her indoor life very well, using the litter box like a pro and is not at all a picky eater. Despite a rough start, she has blossomed into a sweetheart and is ready and waiting for a forever home to call her own. Born May 11, 2024, Tasha is spayed, micro-chipped, UTD on vaccinations, has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and comes with 30 days of free pet insurance. The Cat's Meow Rescue's Adoption Policy

At TCMR, we do our best to help families find the right kitty, as well as make sure our kitties are going to a home that is right for them. We are very happy to talk with potential adopters to help them select a new kitty that will be the purrfect addition to the family. We have an adoption application and adoption agreement that must be completed and approved. Once approved, we set up a meet and greet with the family and the kitty(s) of interest so they can get to know the cats and make sure they find just what they are looking for. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, have received feline distemper and rabies vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment. The adoption also comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and each kitty is microchipped.
