She can be sweet and affectionate one moment—rubbing against your hands and soaking up love—and the next she may politely (or not so politely) let you know she’s had enough. Tanya believes strongly in consent and prefers affection on her terms.<br/>- This confident, indoor-only kitty is outgoing, curious, and always wants to know what’s happening in her home. She’s adventurous, alert, and enjoys being part of the action. Tanya absolutely loves wand toys with feathers and goes wild for catnip-filled soft toys, making playtime one of the best ways to bond with her.<br/>= Tanya’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was heartbreakingly left in a crate on a sidewalk during hot weather in June 2024. Thankfully, she was rescued by Onalaska Farm Sanctuary and later transferred to Kitty Kat Haven, where she’s been showing everyone just how special she is.<br/>- She must be the only cat in the home and is not a fan of being picked up—no matter how much she likes you. But for an experienced cat guardian or a true tortie enthusiast who appreciates personality, boundaries, and a little sass with their snuggles, Tanya could be the perfect match.<br/><br/>If you love bold, expressive cats with big personalities, Tanya is ready to rule your home (with style). 💜<br/> <br/>All our kitties have had a wellness exam by a veterinarian and is fully vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas, ear mites, micro-chipped and is FIV/FeLV negative. Please contact Kitty Kat Haven (with the name of the kitty) to come to meet this special cat. Adoption fee is $150.00.<br/><br/>Animals are screened before adoption for any temperament or visible health problems. However, many behavioral issues do not surface in a controlled environment.
