Tango's Story
Tango is a diamond in the rough looking for a very special human. Having started life as a "spicy" street teen with his sister Toffee, Tango has come a long way, but he hasn't forgotten that the world can be a big, scary place.

Tango isn't a "love at first sight" kind of guy. He will need a patient adopter who understands that his initial hisses are just him trying to act brave while he settles in. Once he feels safe in his "home base" (a kennel or a quiet room), he quickly transforms into a purr-machine who lives for head scratches and long brushing sessions.

Why he’s worth the wait:

- His thick, plush coat is incredibly soft. Once you’re in his "inner circle," he’ll let you brush him to your heart's content.

- Once he trusts you, he finds his voice! Tango will chirp and meow to let you know he’s ready for snacks or attention.

- Tango has a hilarious love-hate relationship with boxes. He loves the security of sitting in them, but he also loves "remodeling" them by shredding the edges.

Ideal Home:
Tango needs a low-traffic, patient household that will give him the time and space he needs to bloom. He can go home with his sister Toffee (who shares his "reformed spicy" past) or as a solo boy, provided his humans are ready to earn his lifelong loyalty.

Note from Foster Mom: Watching Tango go from a scared hiss-box to a vocal, fluffy friend has been so rewarding. He just needs someone who won't rush him!

DOB: 8/7/25

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. We do require a completed application prior to setting up a Meet & Greet in a foster home.
