Talus's Story

Talus (aka, Tal) came to OKP as a bottle baby with a very swollen left hind limb. We considered amputation, but Talus, being the VERY orange boy that he is, decided he would like to keep all 4 of his legs. His left hind leg has healed-albeit incorrectly-and he now has a luxated tarsus.

But you wouldn't know it by looking at him! Talus practically takes flight every time you whip out the cat wand and he loves to jump and climb all over furniture, cat trees, people, etc. He's also a snuggle bug and whenever he gets tired, will crawl into your lap to recharge before going off to find his next big adventure. He will also bring you pom pom balls or other toys to throw. Whether he brings it back or not depends on his mood. He's also very chill and lets you do whatever you want to him as long as appropriate bribes-Churu-are provided.

Tal has experience with dogs and other cats. He'll do best in a home alongside another young kitten that can keep him entertained or be adopted with his brother, Acromion! He'll also do well with young kids and will let them play with his paws or rub his belly without demanding a blood sacrifice.

Talus' estimated birthday is 3/23/2026

If you're interested in adopting any of our kittens please fill out the adoption application and please note which kitten you're interested in meeting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSenKCEx6kQ-VU9okR7C70MDijsjDHV1VO_7XlBR33tlpsYrUQ/viewform

Please allow up to 48-72 hours after submitting an application to reach out regarding the adoption process - thank you!
