Tag's Story

Tag is a beautiful Siamese mix boy born in February 2020, and his journey to this moment is nothing short of remarkable.

He was one of 12 cats abandoned outside a laundromat in Starkville — scared, vulnerable, and in desperate need of help. Thanks to ARC and the quick compassion of Marilyn and Rosemary, Tag was rescued just in time. But his fight was only beginning. This brave boy survived panleukopenia, FIP, and two severe ear infections that nearly took his life.

Today, Tag is thriving.

He’s gentle, affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully talkative — the kind of cat who will happily “chat” with you throughout the day and curl up nearby just to keep you company. His slightly crossed Siamese eyes and adorable little head tilt, a lasting reminder of all he overcame, make him absolutely unforgettable.

Tag’s happiest as someone’s one-and-only cat, where he can soak up all the love and attention he’s waited so long to have. After everything he’s endured, he deserves a quiet home, a soft place to land, and a person who will treasure him forever.

Tag has already survived the unimaginable.
