**** COURTESY POST FOR A BONDED PAIR OF 8 YEAR OLD SIBLING CATS DESPERATELY NEEDING A NEW HOME ASAP!!! ****<br/><br/>ABOUT TAFFY & TOBY<br/><br/>Taffy and Toby are a bonded pair of 8-year-old siblings in desperate need of a new home due to no fault of their own, there were life circumstances that changed in their previous home which is why they are losing their home and they need to be moved to a new home as soon as possible. Extended family members are not able to keep them due to having their own pets. <br/><br/>Taffy and Toby are both domestic shorthair cats so they have low maintenance fur coats, Toby being the beautiful classic Brown Striped Tiger Tabby with bold tiger stripes and a golden belly that loves to be pet! Sister Taffy is a Brown, Gold and Black Torbie (Tortoiseshell Tabby) kitty with a sweet golden peach blaze on her forehead and on her chest, peach colored paws and a lovely striped tail in hues of peach, both are incredibly loveable and deeply bonded kitties, unfortunately they are overweight kitties (no fault of their own) and will need to lose some weight with a gradual weight loss plan in place along with the guidance of your Veterinarian. They would greatly benefit health wise from a lower calorie weight loss dry food and wet food that is regulated in the quantity and time for feedings so they can lose weight gradually. <br/><br/>Taffy and Toby are used to living in a quieter home with their caregivers (they were adopted together as kittens 8 years ago), we would like to find a similar lifestyle for both of them with a quieter home with either a semi-retired couple or a single person in need of a couple loving companion “lap cats” that can still have a burst of energy and play like a couple year-old cats with rattle mouse catnip toys and feather wands. They would be fine with older children of middle school to high school age as long as they were more quiet kids. We do not recommend dogs for Taffy and Toby due to their age and not being raised around any dogs, this could be too stressful for them.<br/><br/>Taffy is spayed, Toby is neutered and both have all their claws; they tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are UTD on their needed Vaccines and both are Microchipped. They will need to be seen your Vet for their yearly health check as they missed some follow-up appointments for health checks due to the health and mobility reasons of the previous owners. Taffy is overall healthy and no immediate health issues are known about her other than being overweight. Toby is also overweight and is pushing towards being a Diabetic cat because of his weight, this can be managed by providing the proper low calorie dry and wet food and giving them both some play exercise to burn off the calories. If you have previous experience with having a Diabetic or borderline Diabetic cat that would be beneficial but your Veterinarian can also guide you through this process.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED<br/><br/>Their adoption fee HAS BEEN WAIVED as a courtesy so their new owners will be able to bring them to their own Vet for the follow up health check and to begin the plan for their weight loss journey with your Vet that you trust and know. Whatever previous Vet records there are for them we will include those on their adoption day so you can give their health history to your Veterinarian.<br/> <br/>DOWRY INCLUDED<br/><br/>They will also come with a personal dowry of goodies for a seamless transition to their new home, cat beds or blankets, feeding bowls, litter boxes they are used to and a plethora of play toys. Whatever remains in their current bag of dry food and cans of wet food until you transition them to a lower calorie food as recommended by your Veterinarian.
