T`eo's Story
Téo’s story almost ended before it began—he and his little family were rescued from a municipal shelter just hours before euthanasia.

At only 4–5 weeks old, despite being the biggest kitten, he was the slowest of the litter of 3 to warm up, but with patience, love, and churu, this gentle, sensitive soul has truly blossomed.

Téo is a sweet, affectionate kitty who adores other cats. He’s a pro at snuggling and playing with feline friends, and he’s even made peace with the calm, medium-sized dogs in his foster home (faster than he warmed up to his foster mom—but she forgives him!).

He’s vocal and expressive, especially around mealtime, and while he can happily entertain himself, he really thrives with a playful and snuggly kitty companion by his side. A little hand-shy at times, Téo’s heart can be won with one simple trick: treats. Food is definitely his love language.

With a moderate energy level, he enjoys playtime and zoomies but is overall a calm and curious guy—never too mischievous.

Téo would do best in a quiet home with another playful, affectionate cat, and would do well with a cat-friendly dog who’s not too rambunctious. With patience and care, this gentle sweetheart will reward you with loyalty, warmth, and the cutest meal-time reminders.

Teo is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
