SYLVIE's Story
Sylvie is just 3 months old and looking for her forever home!

This sweet little girl came to us as a stray and is hoping to trade life on her own for a lifetime of love with a family.

Sylvie has been diagnosed as FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but don't let that discourage you. FIV is not contagious to people or dogs and is primarily spread between cats through deep bite wounds. It is not typically spread through sharing food bowls, water bowls, litter boxes, or normal social interactions. With routine veterinary care, good nutrition, and an indoor lifestyle, many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy, happy lives.

Despite her diagnosis, Sylvie is full of love, curiosity, and playful kitten energy. She deserves the chance to grow up in a safe, loving home where she can thrive.

If you can give this little cutie the long life filled with love she deserves, come ask to meet Sylvie today!

Please bring a carrier to take your new family member home safely, or purchase one from us for only $5.

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish care with a veterinarian after adoption to maintain their pet's health.

Location:
430 Bristol Drive
Statesville, NC

Hours:
Monday–Friday: 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

We are a first-come, first-served, in-person adoption center.

Don't forget the 3-3-3 Rule:
• 3 days to decompress
• 3 weeks to learn routines
• 3 months to build trust

Sylvie (A319138)
3 months old
Spayed female
3.20 pounds

#adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
