Hi... I'm Sylvester 🖤🤍🐾<br/><br/>I'm a handsome black and white kitty, about a year old, and a whopping 11 pounds of fluff, curiosity, and quiet charm. My life started a little differently than most cats. I was one of 43 cats rescued from a hoarding situation, and for most of my early life I lived in a small indoor cage. Because of that, I'm still discovering all the wonderful things the world has to offer -- like having a whole house to explore, cozy places to nap, and toys to play with. Every day I'm learning more about how to truly be a cat, and it's pretty exciting. 🐱✨I have a gentle, calm personality and do very well with people who have special needs. I'm also great with other cats. I haven't been tested with younger children yet, but because of my sweet nature I would likely do well with kids who understand how to be gentle and give me space when I need it.<br/><br/>One of my favorite things is a big cat tree with lots of hidey holes where I can tuck myself away and watch everything happening in the room. I also love sitting by the window and keeping an eye on the outside world. There's always something interesting going on out there. 🐦👀 I'm also a very tidy gentleman -- I always use my litter box and never make a mess, and I'm great for nail trims too. The shelter staff say I'm a very polite boy. What I'm hoping for now is a patient, loving home where I can continue learning, exploring, and feeling safe. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.<br/><br/>Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits.
