Sweetie ***Bonded with Ozzie***'s Story

Sweetie: an affectionate and sweet, senior kitty looking for a home with his brother

Sweetie's story: my brother, Ozzie, and I were living in a hotel with our person and they were moving to an assisted living in NC. We couldn't tag along so they called Fitchburg Friends of Felines and the rest is history! I mean, I did not give up much when I first came to FFF, so that is all you are getting from me.

I'm the more laid back one between my brother and I, but I definitely love attention from my person. I play on occasion, but I'd rather spend my time relaxing and napping. Oh, and my all time favorite thing is wet food! Don't get me wrong, dry food is good too, but the wet food is top tier for sure!

I had not been to the vet in a really long time... maybe ever... but I did great! I got a clean bill of health, and I am going to live a hundred years! I mean, in human years! Okay, I will take cat years...

My ideal home would be...with my brother Ozzie. Preferably in a quieter, laid back house that isn't too crazy. I am good with other cats and kids, but I'd prefer older kids that aren't to hyper. I'm not sure about dogs since I have not lived with them.

Fitchburg Friends of Felines facilitates a foster to adopt program that places the intended adoptee with the potential adoptive family. This ensures that your feline companion is the perfect fit as well as provides support as you both transition into your new life together.

You can fill out an adoption application here:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe1685w60NjfU2eeE55Cd57TAaEZU7bERjyY825EMto48sTQw/viewform

Please reach out to Fitchburg Friends of Felines directly at 978-222-3170 or fitchburgfriendsoffelines@gmail.com with questions. Fitchburg Friends of Felines, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are required to have a solid character reference, vet reference, and a site visit which can be conducted virtually. Due to MA regulations, we cannot intake pets from out of state. We offer a foster to adopt program to guarantee the intended kitty is a good fit for your family. We also require that all adopters agree to return the kitty should the adopter no longer be able to care for him or her in the future, or an agreed to person is identified to continue care for this kitty. We are not a brick and mortar; all available cats are kept in foster homes. Therefore, we would need time to schedule a visit to meet a kitty. We are happy to travel to match the perfect kitty for your family. Our adoption fees are normally $250 per cat, $350 for specialty breeds or exotics, and $50 less per kitty if interested in multiples. For specific questions, or for an adoption application, please feel free to reach out to us directly: fitchburgfriendsoffelines@gmail.com or call our hotline: 978-222-3170
