Meet Sweet Stuff! This girl is very well named, as her personality is incredibly sweet! Sweet Stuff came to The Feline Connection with several kittens, and is now ready to be the center of attention, which she LOVES! She is a lap cat, looking for a very special person to bring her home. Sweet Stuff has kidney disease and is FIV+, so will need some ongoing medical care. Foster Family: "Sweet Stuff came to me as a very pregnant mama. All of her kittens have gone home, but she is still searching for her forever family. Sweet Stuff is aptly named as she is one of the most loving kitties I have ever seen. She is an absolute purr machine. She loves to be pet, cuddled, picked up, carried, and brushed. She adores ear scritches and will even accept belly rubs if you catch her at the right time! She came from barn life, but has adapted well to (and is intensely enjoying) the pampered housecat lifestyle! She is super playful with string toys as interaction with her humans, or squeaky mice, spring toys, bell balls, and fuzzy mice as a way to keep herself entertained. She loves catnip. Sweet Stuff is fully litter-trained. She is on a kidney diet and is FIV positive, but don’t let that stop you from giving her a home as she is a wonderful kitty! She loves her kitty housemates and people of all ages. The more attention she can get, the happier she will be. If you are in the market for a pair, Sweet Stuff is very fond of another of my fosters, Glowbug. (update: we now believe that Suite Stuff and Glowbug are bonded, and they are offered for adoption together.) However, she would also be ok with existing kitties, or as an only, but should go to a home without dogs." The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy

The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match.
