Update from foster home 12/21/24.<br/>Sweet Pea has been in foster care for awhile and she's doing quite well.<br/>She also was diagnosed with kidney disease and it’s been manageable with medication and special food. Sweet Pea continues to live up to her name, just the sweetest kitty!<br/><br/>Above all else, Sweet Pea would love her forever family.<br/>Happy Holidays from Sweet Pea and the lucky person who adopts her.<br/> <br/>Sweet Pea came to us when her dad went to hospice. She is shy but sweet - hence the name. She will mildly tolerate other pets in the house as long as they stay in there own lane so to speak. <br/>She was adopted but came back no fault of her own. <br/><br/>Sweet Pea was diagnosed with kidney disease and is on a prescription diet for that. Her preference is the dry food. Unfortunately she sometimes does miss the litter box but always makes it  to the surrounding pee-pad. <br/><br/> She tested FIV/FeLV negative and has been fixed and vaccinated. She is around 3 years old.<br/><br/>Here's the latest foster report:<br/>“Sweet Pea has been living up to her name! She is cautious initially but warmed up to us very quickly and enjoys getting pets and scratches. She also enjoys “supervising” us as we move about the apartment and keeping close to humans. Sweet Pea enjoys playing and and her scratching toys especially!”

CATSS's Adoption Policy
CATSS offers tame cats and kittens for adoption. CATSS is not a shelter and does not have a central location. All of cats are cared for by a network of foster homes. Fixed adoptable cats and kittens can be adopted for a $75.00 adoption fee. The fee covers the cost of deworming, alteration and vaccines. Unfixed adoptable kittens can be adopted for a $100.00 adoption fee with the possibility of a $50.00 rebate upon proof of alteration.You can view all of our available cats and kittens via the website PetFinder.   CATSS currently serves the city of Oberlin, Ohio and clients living within the Oberlin City Schools District. CATSS has been extremely successful in reducing the cat population in Oberlin. However, many of the calls we receive come from the communities of Lorain, Elyria, and Wellington. We do not currently have the resources to serve these areas. Please understand that we cannot assist individuals or cats outside of our defined territory.
