Sweet Pea's Story

Sweet Pea is a female, Calico/Domestic Short Hair cat. Her estimated date of birth is December 4, 2022. Sweet Pea (also lovingly known as “Momma”) is a tiny little calico with the biggest heart. Weighing in at just 6 pounds, she came to us as a last-minute rescue along with her four 7-week-old kittens, all of whom had been living outside just before the first cold snap. Despite the tough circumstances, Sweet Pea took incredible care of her babies—and once she was safe, it became clear just how friendly and loving she truly is.

This itty bitty girl has a constant happy tail and a bouncy little hop when she’s feeling playful. She is super sweet and wants affection all the time, even though she’s still figuring out how to sit still long enough to fully soak it in. Head rubs and good side scratches are her absolute favorite, and if you talk to her, she’ll roll around happily and show off her belly.

Sweet Pea loves playing with other cats and is learning how to enjoy playtime purely for fun now that she no longer has to defend herself or her babies. She would most likely do well with all ages of children and laid-back dogs with proper, slow introductions. Watching her relax, chase her foster brothers, and discover how carefree life can be has been such a joy. She’s also learning the art of the fishing pole toy and adores bird-watching from any window she can find.

Affectionate, playful, and endlessly gentle, Sweet Pea is ready to leave her momma days behind and step into a life where she gets to be the baby. If you’re looking for a tiny, loving companion with a resilient spirit and a heart of gold, Sweet Pea might just be your perfect match.

She is fully vetted and has an adoption fee of $90. You can apply online for her at https://arftulsa.wufoo.com/forms/arf-cat-adoption-application/ PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO APPLYING.

Note: ARF reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
