Meet Sweet Pea, a 3-month-old kitten who truly lives up to her name! She is the perfect mix of zoomies, bottomless appetite, and pure affection, and will be a great addition to a home with people and other pets. The Lowdown on Sweet Pea: A "Purring Machine": While she might give you a playful "catch me if you can" chase when you go to pick her up, the second she’s in your arms, her motor starts running and doesn't stop! Professional Cuddler: Once the petting starts, she’s not going anywhere. Sweet Pea will plant herself right next to you and use her headbutts to ask "just five more minutes" of chin scratches. Olympic Eater: She never misses a meal. If there’s food involved, she’s your best friend. Playtime Pro: At 3 months old, she’s full of kitten energy and ready to tackle any feather wand or crinkle ball in her path. Since Sweet Pea is still a kitten, she'll need to go to a home with another friendly cat, or she can be adopted with one of our other adoptable cats.

Save Kitty Foundation's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters complete an online application. All applications are then reviewed and potential candidates are contacted for a phone interview/conversation to ask/answer questions, determine if the cat is a good match for their home/family, and then discuss next steps. If both sides want to move forward, we ask for a video tour of the home and also any relevant medical records for their resident cat. Additional conversations often follow - suggestions for addressing potential hazards in the home (e.g. poisonous plant). If everything checks out with those two items, the adoption is approved and adopter is given information on supplies to purchase.
