Susie Q's Story

Susie Q is a gentle, docile sweetheart with a calm presence that instantly makes a house feel like home. This beautiful blue Russian mix loves the simple things in life: a cozy place to nap, a kind hand to pet her, and a steady routine. She settles into new environments with ease, taking everything in stride and quickly finding her favorite sunny spots for long, peaceful snoozes.

While she may be laid-back, Susie Q absolutely lights up when it comes to attention. She enjoys being around people and will happily soak up pets and affection whenever it’s offered. And if there’s one sure way to her heart, it’s food—this girl is wonderfully food-motivated and will be your most enthusiastic companion at mealtime.

Susie Q gets along beautifully with other cats and has shown a particularly nurturing side, acting as a gentle mother-figure to her friend Creedence. Her calm, reassuring nature makes her a wonderful companion for both humans and feline friends alike. She brings a sense of comfort and quiet companionship wherever she goes.

After losing her home due to her owner having to move, Susie Q is ready to start her next chapter with a loving family. She’s the kind of cat who will be your steady, affectionate presence—always nearby, always content, and always ready for a nap or a cuddle.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
