Sushi's Story

Sushi is a very playful and affectionate cat. She loves to follow her foster mom around the house to "assist" with chores. Sushi snuggle sessions have quickly become a favorite activity in the foster household. She likes to run after toys, wrestle, and jump for string toys. She has such a loving personality and really wants someone to be HER human.

Sushi would do best where she isn't alone too often. A multi-person household would be optimal where she can gets lots of active interaction. Sushi would not be suited to younger children(under school age) at this time as she can get a little chaotic when playing. She has done very well with foster family's 7 year old though. She will occasionally give small nips for attention but the are very light and her foster has been working with her to decrease the habit.

As far as other pets go, Sushi was fairly unbothered by the foster's personal cats within a couple weeks. However, she is pretty intrusive on their spaces which they were bothered by so a home with either no other animals or very nonchalant ones would suit best. She doesn't mind the dog either as long as he doesn't try to interact with her.

IMPORTANT!!! Sushi is a special needs cat. She has diabetes and will need daily medication and prescription food. Her diabetes is well controlled with oral medication and the special foods.
