Sushi is a 7-month-old (as of 4/10) black and white beauty with a tender heart and a quiet charm that’s just waiting to blossom. This adorable young kitty may be shy at first, but beneath her timid exterior is a sweet and loving companion who simply needs time, patience, and the comfort of another cat to truly shine.<br/><br/>Sushi is litter box trained and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people of all ages, including children, adults, and the elderly. While she is still adjusting to her surroundings and prefers to explore when things are calm and quiet—often venturing out at night—she has begun to make slow and steady progress. She will allow gentle pets for short periods, showing that with patience and understanding, her confidence will continue to grow.<br/><br/>What truly makes Sushi special is her deep desire for feline companionship. Although she currently lives without another cat, her previous foster shared that she spent much of her time trying to befriend and play with a resident cat. Even hearing a cat meow sparks her curiosity—she will come out to search for her potential new friend and respond with soft meows of her own. Because of this, Sushi would thrive in a home with another friendly and welcoming cat who can help her feel safe and show her the ropes.<br/><br/>Sushi is comfortable around dogs, peacefully coexisting with them, though she hasn’t shown much interest in interacting just yet.
