To complete an adoption application for Surya, please copy and paste the link below in your browser: LaurelCats.org/Apply<br/><br/>A parkour master, Surya is quite friendly, enjoys flopping against your side for short periods, and very much enjoys playing with wand toys (ribbons, feathers, small fuzzies). He has an impressive vertical leap, and easily bounces between, over, and around obstacles to get to his favorite feather wand "prey".<br/><br/>He enjoys being petted and will tolerate chest/tummy rubs for a bit, but consider them short-term, and if he starts to bite gently, move your hand away before he escalates. He will dig in the bed covers, sometimes grabs/chews your hair, and likes to get to the counter to taste test the cat food. He may outgrow some of these behaviors as he ages, but right now, he might be best with older kids, or ones who are experienced with spicy kitties. (Note: Kiddos 12+) <br/><br/>He has been fine with the other cats, playing with some of the younger ones. He has done very well with Kiama, and could be adopted with him if you want instant buddies . In close quarters he can be defensive, with a cat who recognizes the importance of a little personal space, he seems to be fine.<br/><br/>Wins at eating wet and dry, keeps the water in the fountain and has no issues using a variety of litter boxes.<br/><br/>You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved.
