Sunshine (Happy Single)'s Story
DOB: May 10, 2022
Sunshine (aka Sunny) is a gentle fellow with a lot of love to give. He is adjusting to the recent changes in his life, and his sweet temperament is definitely starting to shine through. He is already enjoying cozying up beside his foster parent for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Sunny quickly made it clear that his absolute favourite thing is to be brushed and petted. In fact, bringing out his brush is one of the easiest ways to make him feel safe and secure—it is his version of an instant comfort signal. As Sunny is long hair, keeping him mat-free in the future will be easy as he adores being brushed.
When happy, Sunny makes the most adorable meows, and, when he cheerfully trots over to you with his gorgeous tail swinging, you just can’t help but smile.
Sunny is a fan of string toys and can’t resist a good sprinkle of catnip. He does wonderfully with his scratching mat, especially if it is dusted with cat nip. In fact, you may spot him scooping the mat up in his paws as he rolls around enjoying the cat nip, pausing for some scratching, and then retuning to savouring the cat nip.
Sunny will be happiest as a single pet in a quiet household, and he will make an amazing companion. Initially, he will need some patience from his new family as he may spend much of the day tucked away in a cozy hiding spot, taking in the sounds and smells of his new home. With some gentle pets and quiet time, he will show you what a loving guy he is. Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca.
Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments
NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee.
