Sunshine - CHOW HOUND - ADOPTION PENDING's Story

Meet Sunshine, a lovely black and white long haired girl who was part of a cat colony fed by a couple. When they moved Sunshine was trapped along with another kitty. Sunshine was in foster prior to being placed at Chow Hound. She was in foster since October so the move was a big one for Sunshine.

Sunshine's coat is very shiny and soft. She has a black toe among her white ones which adds to her beauty. Sunshine loves toys and to play in bags and boxes. One of her favorite toys was a scratcher placed in a bag. She enjoys pets, is able to be picked up and enjoys lap time. Sunshine is a very nice kitty and wants very much to be "the sunshine of your life" to paraphrase Stevie Wonder. Everyone needs a little more Sunshine in their life.

Sunshine may do best as an only cat. Our interactions with Sunshine and other cats is limited, however, she lived with another cat in foster who she would occasionally swat. Sunshine is a confident kitty and doesn't necessarily need a friend. Sunshine would do well with a single adopter, a couple or a family as she has such a playful nature.

If you want to see this gorgeous floof she can be found at Burton St. Chow Hound 2490 Burton St. SE Grand Rapids.

Sunshine has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Sunshine has an approximate birthdate of 02-25-2022. Her adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Sunshine or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
