Sunrise's Story

Neutered Male
2 Years Old
9 Pounds
$40

Sunrise is a 2-year-old neutered male Domestic Shorthair with the sweetest, most easygoing personality. He came to us as a stray, so we dont know much about his past—but we do know hes a wonderful boy who is ready for a loving home.

Sunrise absolutely loves being held and is incredibly tolerant and comfortable with handling. Pick him up, and hell happily settle into your arms, sometimes even lounging on his back like he hasnt a care in the world.

Hes a calm, chill guy who doesnt constantly demand attention, but he is more than happy to soak up all the affection youre willing to give. When hes not enjoying some cuddles, Sunrise is perfectly content to curl up in a comfy spot and take a nice, relaxing nap.

If youre looking for a gentle, laid-back companion who will happily lounge by your side and enjoy some loving, Sunrise may be your perfect match.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.

Want to Know if Im Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
