SUNNY (Courtesy Post)'s Story

Sunny is an early riser who likes breakfast before sunrise and is used to eating again around 4:00 PM. He enjoys wet food twice a day with dry food left out between meals, and he especially loves sharing a small piece of avocado now and then. He is curious and likes to investigate doors and windows, and while he sometimes acts interested in going outside, he has always been an indoor cat and would likely do best staying that way.

Sunny has lived with his mom and sister and has bonded with other cats, but over time he has started displaying some resource guarding around the litter box. This has created tension in the household, and it seems he may do best in a quieter environment where he can have more space, consistency, and attention.

He has been exposed to two Labrador dogs in the home, although they were generally kept separated, so he does have some familiarity with dogs. He has not been around children.

Sunny would likely be a good fit for someone who is home often and enjoys building a relationship with a cat. He is deeply loved, and the hope is to find him a stable home where he can relax, receive attention, and settle into a routine that feels easier for him.

If you are interested in giving this beautiful boy a forever home please contact Jennifer at 952-412-4005 and/or fill out an application at www.last-hope.org.
