Sunny's Story
Meet Sunny, a special little girl who needs a special home. She ended up in rescue because her family had more animals than they could care for. Not long after she went to a foster home, she developed FIP, which was diagnosed on 1/9/25. She immediately started the treatment, which has been completed. As part of her post-treatment bloodwork, she was combo tested and turned out to be feline leukemia positive. She had previously tested negative. A separate test to confirm the diagnosis revealed that it is "regressive". If you Google "regressive feline leukemia," you'll get an excellent overview of her condition, and you'll understand why she needs to be in a home with no other cats. We don't want to put Sunny with other leukemia cats, because we don't want her to become "progressive." And we don't want her to be with cats who don't have leukemia, since she could pass leukemia to other cats. You know who wouldn't be a problem? Dogs and people!! She loves attention. She has lived with dogs and teenagers, and we think she’ll be fine with younger kids as well. Sunny has been vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas, vet checked, and spayed. SUNNY IS A COURTESY POST.
