Sunflower's Story
Sunflower was born in a local homeowners backyard, under a shed. Sunflower's mom kept showing up and asking for food. She would sometimes wait hours outside the doorstep for them to come outside, and it wasn't until they installed an outdoor camera that we noticed. Their hearts broke to see another pregnant momma without a home and hungry, weathering the scorching heat. Sunflower took her first breath on March 3rd. From then on, momma cat would show up with her adorable kittens to feast. They were able to save the family and give momma cat a new home. Sunflower is a sweet and quiet kitten. Most of the time she can be found chasing her siblings and running around the room, and in her quiet time she enjoys to nap inside her crate where she can feel hidden
