Sundance's Story

Sundance is a handsome fellow who was found in a feral colony - probably dumped by his previous family as it is not a location where a stray cat is likely to be found. He loves attention and will sit contentedly on your lap. He's okay with other cats, but it currently doesn't appear he needs them. As far as we know he has no child or dog experience.<br/><br/>Sundance is neutered, has been vaccinated and is FIV+ (which may or may not be a concern to potential adopters). He's estimated to be about 2 years old, but as is often the case with a stray we don't really know.

The Isle of Wight County Humane Society does in-person interviews to be approved as a home. There is no paper application to fill out before an adoption event. We reserve the right to approve or deny a prospective adopter based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest. We are an all volunteer foster based rescue and we do not operate a physical shelter or have business hours.. Our adoption events are the best way to meet our pets and be interviewed.
